Quick note...
Here is a picture (sorry it is so dark) of the finished blanket for Payton (who is now 3 mo old... oh well).
blanket #1 is done!
And this is the Classic Elite yarn I am going to use to make the "to dye for" sweater in S&B (pg 198)
La Gran Mohair
Cant wait to finish the blue blanket so I can get started on the sweater! I want to wear it my first day of school!

I love that blanket with the latter! What pattern is it? I would love to make one for my sister son.

Hey :)
I got the pattern out of Simple Knits for Cherished Babies by Erika Knight. The pattern is on page 44 and is called a personalized baby blanket.
I'm not sure if you are into buying books, but I highly recommend this one. It has great sweaters, dresses, slippers, hats, teddy bears - you name it. And, most of the patterns call for Rowan or Jaeger yarns - so soft and yummy and the colors are great for babies. The patterns and charts are easy to read and are pretty quick!
Enjoy!
